It’s that exciting time of year again!  Fresh notebooks, new names on classroom doors, and families settling into school routines. This season, ReachMyTeach is here to help make the transition smoother for educators, families, and students with smarter, multilingual communication tools. With effective communication, everyone can stay informed and connected.

Why this fall can be your smoothest yet

Strong parent-teacher communication sets the tone for the entire school year. When families feel connected from day one, it’s easier to build trust, share important updates, and support student success. ReachMyTeach makes that connection simple, clear, and inclusive—whether you’re sending a quick update, scheduling a parent-teacher conference, or sharing documents in multiple languages.

Utilizing ReachMyTeach’s tools enhances Back to School communication, so every family feels included.

Back to School communication tips for a smooth start

1. Access messages from last year
Need to review your parent communication from the previous school year? Once you log into ReachMyTeach, last year’s messages aren’t shown by default. Click on the This Year’s Messages button and toggle to All Messages—this is where you’ll find your full message history.

2. Review and update your Groups
Check your groups from last year. If you created a club or activity group (like Chess Club), it may need updates for this school year. Keeping your groups current ensures your school family engagement tools work effectively from day one.

3. Explore new ReachMyTeach features
This year, ReachMyTeach includes powerful upgrades like Forms and Document Sending, perfect for digital permission slips, surveys, and parent feedback forms. Check if these features are active in your portal (your district may need to turn them on for you). These tools help schools streamline communication and reduce paper-based processes.

Wrapping up

This fall, let’s make school communication personal, natural, and inclusive—not just a box to check. Let’s replace “I hope they understood” with the confidence that every family is informed, engaged, and able to respond in their preferred language.

You’ve got this—and with ReachMyTeach, your parent-teacher communication will be stronger than ever.

Warmly,
The ReachMyTeach Team
